NOTE: With the expiration of the 'Wright Amendment' on Oct. 13, 2014, and the opening of the new integrated passenger terminal - Dallas Love Field has experienced tremendous upturn in passenger counts.
- Departing passengers at the Airport using the Parking Garage will be able to use the tunnel to get to the Ticketing/ Checkin area of the Terminal;
- Departing passengers at the Airport will enter the Departures Hall with check-in facilities, go through security check and arrive at the boarding area with varius sevices and amenities, and access to departure gates 11-20 (west) and 1-10 (east)
- Arrivig passengers at the Airport heading to the Parking Garage may use the tunnel at the Bagge Claim (after retrieval of bags).
Dallas Love Field has a new integrated Passenger Terminal - bright & spacious, with high ceilings, wonderful art and a large selection of restaurants, retail concessions & an impressive artwork. With 20 gates (18 of the 20 gates are now Southwest Airline gates), gate areas offfer electric & USB outlets. Concessions more than doubled, WiFi access is free for first 30 minutes, and there is an expanded baggage facility.
Passengers now use the consolidated security checkpoint in the newly extended lobby, which is enhanced by a mosaic mural representing Dallas sunrise over Texas plants & wildflowers. There is also a Children's play area (Lil Love Lounge near Creative Kidstuff), a nursing lounge, an observation deck in meeter/greeter area; and the outdoor Moss Lee Love Garden (past ticketing lobby).
From the Parking garage outside, separate short tunnels lead at west to the baggage claim and east to the ticketing /check-in area (with outside curbside check-in). The crosswalk leads to the public-area in the center - while the 'upper bridge' leads from 'Love Landing' to the garage.
The public area has a bagel shop & Dunkin Donuts, with an Information counter and rental car desk to the right and another information counter to the left; the 'Moss Lee Love Garden' to the right, and the security checkpoint at north.

The boarding area - surrounded by concessions and services - is reached after security check and houses in the center an Information counter, with seating on either side, and with airline gates 11-20 (left) and 1-10 (right).
Currently / in future the following services & amenities are /will be available inside the Terminal: 28 retail & newsstands; 26 restaurants, as well as 14 new amenities, including shoe shine, high-end vending machines, ATs, rental car counters, information desk, children's play area, & nursing lounge.
